Innovation Award Success for CCP!

We are pleased to announce that Dr Jane Reeves and Professor David Shemmings, Co-Directors of the Centre for Child Protection, SSPSSR, were awarded the Innovation Award at the Innovation Awards Ceremony on Wednesday 5 March.  The event took place at the Innovation Centre and the award was presented by Carole Barron, Director of KIE.  The Innovation Award recognises the contribution of Kent staff members, whether Academic or Professional Services staff, who have developed innovative projects. A panel of judges made up from senior staff at the University and key external business contacts selected a shortlist and winner for each category according to the specified criteria.

The nominations were:

  • Professor Samuele Marcora, School of Sport and      Exercise Sciences
  • Dr Kate Hamilton-West, Centre for Health      Services Studies

Jane and David would like to thank all those who have helped them to reach this point, and value your ongoing support as the Centre continues to grow.
