Dr Joy Zhang, Lecturer in Sociology at SSPSSR has authored an entry for the CNN Fareed Zakaria GPS blog on China’s environment politics.
The blog details civic actions in China in response to the horrifying statistic that in four cities alone (Shanghai, Guangzhou, Xi’an, Beijing) in 2012 over 8,500 people died prematurely because of pollution.
