Panel debates decriminalisation of drugs

The Medway Social Science Group are pleased to announce a “Question Time” event at the School of Social Policy, Sociology and Social Research.

The invited panel will discuss the topic “Decriminalisation of Drugs” in what promises to be a lively and interesting debate. Panel members include:

Professor Alex Stevens, Professor in Criminal Justice
Neil Hunt, Director of Research, KCA
Dr Jennifer Fleetwood, Researcher on International Drugs Trade

The panel will discuss a variey of issues surrounding the topic, drawing on their experience and research in this area – spurred on and challenged by questions from the audience.

Everyone is welcome to attend the event on Wednesday 3 April, 15.30-17.00 in the Pilkington Building (PK-130) at our Medway Campus.

The event will be followed by refreshments at Coopers pub where we expect the debate to continue.

Tickets to be distributed next week – come along, hear the debate and challenge the panel!
