Adage Adagio

October 2011 saw the Italian launch of a collection of poetry by SSPSSR postgraduate student David Nettleingham, co-authored with his writing partner and former Kent student Christopher Hobday. Roman publisher Polìmata released the bi-lingual Italian/English edition of ‘Adage Adagio’ after the manuscript was picked up by translator Federico Federici as part of an international poetry conference held in 2009. The collection includes a sequence of ten poems formed around debates between the authors on the nature of memory and inheritance, with a study by the translator.
