What exactly will I be doing?
You will be working in the department responsible for ensuring that implemented technical solutions are appropriately delivered and supported in order to service the firm and its stakeholders. Individuals in this department take care of any and every IT/Application related issues that arise within the company…
– You will be playing a key and active role in the Service Desk team- acting as a first point of contact to those within the firm that have queries and requests relating to IT infrastructure & Application support
– Approaching people from across the firm who come into difficulty, and assisting them with any IT or technology related difficulties they are facing
– Utilising creativity and logical thinking to devise bespoke solutions to a variety of technical issues
– Taking on full ownership of individual incidents and requests when required
– Working with applications including Active Directory, SimCorp and various other internal/integrated applications and IM solutions
– Involvement with and exposure to the development of both the software and hardware required for Asset Management
