Sky offer 6 to 8 weeks’ summer placements for penultimate year students in Marketing, Finance and Software Engineering. These are important opportunities that allow undergraduates to gain relevant industry experience and even have the opportunity to be fast tracked through the application process for graduate schemes. Software Academy Summer Placement
Work with the award-winning Software Development teams and create exciting new technologies to make sure Sky stays ahead of the game.
Duration: 6-8 weeks
Requirements: You’ll currently be studying at university and in your penultimate year. If you’ve already graduated, please see our graduate opportunities.

Technology is at the heart of our business, developing new products and services to provide our customers with the best possible experience. In Software Engineering, the team write brilliant, incredibly detailed software that delivers for our customers.
This is your chance to see how one of the biggest Agile teams in the UK works in practice to develop products and services for our customers and Sky as a business. You’ll spend your summer working with a team of Associate Software Developers. You’ll participate in a variety of activities and get the chance to have a go at a number of coding languages which, in addition, will help you develop your skills whether you are new to coding or have been doing it for a while.
