RStudio service on Noether

Our highest spec research server, Noether, has R Studio installed which gives a Graphical User Interface for the R Statistical application.

This service is available from on or off campus via https://noether.kent.ac.uk/
– use your usual Kent login/password combination.

The service may also be accessed using VPN and Secure Shell (ssh) tunneling. Caveat: The following technical guidelines may need updating: RStudio-Via-SSH-Tunnel-v3. Since the guidelines were written some changes to IP/firewall settings may have impacted upon connectivity but we have not yet tested this. Use the web interface instead.
