Backing up your data (Ubuntu)

… But I have to say that rsynch does the job pretty reliably, as long as you can work out how your drives are mounted and get the paths right. This can take some fiddling about, especially for Windows shares.

You can use cron to schedule rsynch daily (or whatever) and there’s a fairly decent GUI, Gnome Schedule: http://gnome-schedule.sourceforge.net/
