Dr Laura Bailey, Senior Lecturer in English Language and Linguistics contributed to the League of the Lexicon game, which has now seen huge success.

After launching on the crowdfunding site Kickstarter in June, the game about words and language raised about £380,000 from more than 5,600 backers, making it the most successful word game on the platform to date. Its fans include Stephen Fry, who has described it as “a logophile’s dream”.
