Epistemic Injustice, Reasons and Agency (EIRA) Reading Group

The Epistemic Injustice, Reasons and Agency (EIRA) Reading Group meets fortnightly, on Fridays at 1400*. Students and Staff from the Universities of Johannesburg and Kent gather online to discuss a paper that either sits at the intersection between epistemic justice, agency, and reasoning, or which has implications for one or more of these fields.  The discussions are lively and open-ended, and all participants are welcome to suggest papers for discussion (or even deliver one, on occasion).

The Reading Group is student-led and organised by PhD students Abraham Tobi and Akanimo Andrew Akpan (University of Johannesburg), and Elliot Porter (University of Kent).  If you would like to participate or learn more, please contact Elliot at e.porter@kent.ac.uk

Further details about the underlying research collaboration led by Veli Mitova (University of Johannesburg) and Lubomira Radoilska (University of Kent) are available via the website.

*Meetings are at 14.00 during British Summer Time, and 13.00 GMT.
