Head of Department, Dr Graeme A Forbes, to take part in panel discussion on quantum physics

Head of Department of Philosophy, Dr Graeme A. Forbes, will be taking part in a panel discussion hosted by the University of Kent Physics Society (Physoc) on Tuesday 9 February from 18.00 – 20.00. Phsyoc are hosting the live event, ‘Quantum Physics Panel‘ to explore quantum mechanics from the point of view of Physics, Philosophy, Quantum Computing, and Mathematics.

The chairs of the event are Dr Sam Carr, Lecturer at the School of Physical Sciences and Dr Gunnar Möller, Royal Society University Research Fellow. Joining Dr Graeme A. Forbes on the panel are Dr Clare Dunning from the School of Mathematics, Statistics and Actuarial Science, Carlos Perez Delgado, School of Computing, and Professor Paul Strange from the School of Physical Sciences. Head of School of Physical Sciences, Professor Nigel Mason, will be an bonus extra guest at the event.
