Congratulations to our graduates

Congratulations to our final-year students from the Department  of Religious Studies, who graduated yesterday with their well-earned degrees. This is the culmination of three or four years of hard work (or longer for part-time students).

A post-graduation party was held on campus, complete with a prize-giving ceremony for those who have made a particular contribution to the school. The Religious Studies/Asian prize winners included:

  • Helena Phillips won Best Degree in Religious Studies/Asian Studies
  • Helena Phillips also jointly won Alex Forrest, Simon Pizer jointly won Best Religious Studies/Asian Studies Dissertation
  • Helena Phillips also jointly won with Anna Meares the Most Significant Contribution to Religious Studies/Asian Studies.

Prior to the party, our graduates were awarded their degrees at a ceremony held in Canterbury Cathedral.

An album of photos of the party has been added to the SECL Facebook page:
