Congratulations to our final-year students from the Department of Religious Studies, who graduated yesterday with their well-earned degrees. This is the culmination of three or four years of hard work (or longer for part-time students).
A post-graduation party was held on campus, complete with a prize-giving ceremony for those who have made a particular contribution to the school. The Religious Studies/Asian prize winners included:
- Helena Phillips won Best Degree in Religious Studies/Asian Studies
- Helena Phillips also jointly won Alex Forrest, Simon Pizer jointly won Best Religious Studies/Asian Studies Dissertation
- Helena Phillips also jointly won with Anna Meares the Most Significant Contribution to Religious Studies/Asian Studies.
Prior to the party, our graduates were awarded their degrees at a ceremony held in Canterbury Cathedral.
