Professor Amalia Arvaniti and Dr Tamara Rathcke from the Department of English Language & Linguistics are seeking native Italian and native German speakers to participate in a short linguistic study into the rhythmic grouping of tone sequences.

The study involves listening to sequences of tones presented to you via a computer and making judgements on how these tones are grouped by selecting the picture on the screen that best represents what you hear. The task will take around 25 minutes to complete.

If you are willing to volunteer or have any questions please contact Linguistics Lab assistant Jessica Goulston at jg520@kent.ac.uk
