The results of the National Student Survey 2017 (NSS) have now been released, revealing good news for the Department of Modern Languages.

The NSS is an independent UK-wide survey of all higher education institutions, providing an opportunity for final-year students to independently rate their experience at university.

The survey ran from January until April this year and the results were published earlier this week, on 9 August 2017.

Italian studies was ranked 1st in the UK with a 100% student satisfaction rating. Other successes came from German studies (95% student satisfaction rating), Hispanic Studies (95% student satisfaction rating) and French (84% student satisfaction rating).

Congratulations to our academic and support staff for providing excellent teaching to achieve this result, and thank you to all of our students who participated in the survey.
