National Student Survey 2017 now open

National Student Survey 2017: 'Be heard' icon

The National Student Survey 2017 (NSS) is now open.

The NSS is a UK-wide survey, giving students towards the end of their degree the opportunity to evaluate their time at university. It provides a chance for our students to tell us about their experience at Kent. For further details, please see: www.kent.ac.uk/nss

Eligible students will be emailed to let them know they are included in the survey. Completing it only takes around 5 minutes. To begin, go to: www.thestudentsurvey.com

As it is so important to UK education, the University is offering two reward schemes for entering; a main University scheme and one for our students in the School of European Culture and Languages (SECL). The schemes are not exclusive: entering one does not exclude entering the other.

SECL incentive scheme (for SECL students)
Update: this scheme has now closed.

SECL will be running several cash prize draws throughout the survey. If eligible students also send their completion confirmation email to secl@kent.ac.uk they will automatically be entered. The draws will be/were held on:

  • 30 January – (£100 was won by Laura Miucci)
  • 20 February – (£50 was won by Jack Hickey)
  • 13 March – (£50 was won by Amy Poulter)
  • 3 April –  (£100 was won by Ayu Ayub)

As the draw will be taken in the morning, receipt of confirmation needs to be received by midnight the night before. As this is an on-going incentive, the earlier the entry, the more chances of winning. Good luck!

Main University incentive (all eligible NSS students)
Update: this scheme has now closed.

The University of Kent is offering a free £10 Amazon voucher reward to each eligible student who completes the NSS online by Monday 13 February. To claim the voucher, students need to send their survey completion confirmation email to the Student Records and Examinations Office, nssawards@kent.ac.uk, by midnight on 13 February 2017.

The Survey closes on 30 April 2017.
