Congratulations to our final-year students from the Department of English Language & Linguistics who are graduating today with their well-earned degrees. This is the culmination of three or four years of hard work, or longer for part-time students.
Several students in the department have also won awards for a SECL prize giving. The winners are:
- Jessica Bourne, the Best Degree in English Language & Linguistics
- Douglas Broad, the English Language and Linguistics Dissertation Prize
- Suzanne Patterson wins the prize for the most significant contribution to English Language & Linguistics.
The prizes were awarded at the Graduation Party on campus.
