In the article ‘Matters of Life and Beyond Death’, Nigel Bovey interviews Karla about teaching Latin and Classics at Kent. ‘[T]hrough Latin, one can travel in time to far-distant worlds. I can listen to people who lived more than 2,000 years ago,’ she explains.
