Congratulations to our students from the Department of French who have passed the Diplôme de français professionnel.

The School of European Culture and Languages (SECL) is an accredited examination centre for the Paris and Ile-de-France Chamber of Commerce and Industry business French diplomas. Each year in June, students of the Business French modules (FR590 and FR592) have the opportunity to sit these diplomas, which are also open to other suitably prepared candidates.

This year, 11 students sat the exams and all of them passed, with 4 students awarded ‘mentions’, the French equivalent to distinctions for first-class marks.

For further information about these diplomas or about the Business French provision at Kent, please contact Fiona Godfrey, Lecturer in French in the Department of Modern Languages: F.A.M.Godfrey@kent.ac.uk
