SECL success in the National Student Survey 2015

The results of the National Student Survey 2015 (NSS) have now been released, revealing good news for the School of European Culture and Languages (SECL).

The NSS is an independent UK-wide survey of all 155 higher education institutions, providing an opportunity for final-year students to independently rate their experience at university.

The survey ran from January until April this year, targeting students towards the end of their degree, and the results published today, 12 August 2015.

SECL saw several successes in the survey. Both Archaeology and Classics were ranked 1st in the UK for overall satisfaction; with Archaeology scoring 99% for teaching satisfaction, and Classics scoring 97%.

Overall, all SECL’s subject areas scored extremely high for its teaching. The figures for the other subjects for teaching satisfaction were as follows:
