Philosophy student on BBC2’s University Challenge

Emma Isworth, a postgraduate student from the Department of Philosophy will be appearing on BBC2’s long running quiz University Challenge tonight, 27 July 2015, as part of a team of students from the University of Kent.

Emma, who is studying for an MA in Medical Humanities will be joined by another student from the School of European Culture and languages, Alexander Atmore, who is studying for a BA (Hons) in Comparative Literature (run by the Department of Comparative Literature), and two other students, Caitlin Gilroy from the School of Physical Sciences, and Thomas Cheetham from the School of History.

The University of Kent team will be taking on students from the University of Newcastle.
