In celebration of its 50th anniversary, the University of Kent launched its new Research Prizes in 2014/15 to recognise exceptional achievements and foster excellent research.

We are delighted to announce that two of the prizes went to members in the School of European Culture and Languages (SECL). Professor Jon Williamson, from the Department of Philosophy won the overall University Prize for Research, and Ada Nifosi, PhD student in the Department of Classical & Archaeological Studies, won the Faculty of Humanities Prize for Postgraduate Research.
