Classics at Kent ranked in top 15 nationally in REF intensity rankings

The Department of Classical & Archaeological Studies at Kent has been ranked 2nd for research impact, and 14th in its subject area by the Times Higher Education in its assessment of research intensity based on results from REF2014. These rankings, which adjust a department’s REF score by the proportion of its staff included in the REF assessment exercise, show the Department at Kent to be well-placed nationally having significantly increased the proportion of its work graded world-leading and internationally-excellent since RAE2008.
