Dr Edward Kanterian, from the Department of Philosophy, made several media appearances in Romania before the winter vacation, being interviewed on Radio Timisoara in December.
In the interview, Edward discusses the roots of Communist repression and traces it back to the utopian elements in Marx’ and Engel’s political theory. He also argues against the belief that there have been no Communist states so far.
The discussion has been reported by the wider media, including the Allgemeine Deutsche Zeitung, LaPunkt and Noi Nu.
