Archaeology to highlight this year’s fieldwork

An ancient coin

The Department of Classical & Archaeological Studies will be hosting an open evening on Tuesday 2 December 2014, featuring talks from members of staff and associates about the archaeological projects and excavations they have been involved in over the past year.

This year, excavations have taken place in locations as diverse as Kent, Lincolnshire, Italy, Greece and Jordan. These have often provided opportunities for Kent students to gain valuable archaeological experience, as well as gaining deeper insight into ancient civilisations.

The evening will be held at 7pm in Keynes College, Lecture Theatre 1. Entrance is free and all are welcome.

For more information on the open evening, including the schedule of talks, please see the webpage here: www.kent.ac.uk/secl/classics/events
