Rosie Wyles to present workshop on Antigone

Dr Rosie Wyles, from the Department of Classical & Archaeological Studies will be running a public workshop on Sophocles’ Antigone this Sunday, 16 November 2014.

Rosie is running the workshop with Dr Angeliki Varakis-Martin from the School of Arts. Both Rosie and Angeliki are experts on ancient Greek theatre, and they look forward to sharing their expertise by offering an understanding of the background on Antigone, as well as the chance to act selected scenes from it.

This workshop is part of the programme of events supporting the production of Roy Williams’ exciting new adaptation of Antigone currently being performed at the Gulbenkian, 12 to 15 November.
