Firstly he was interviewed by Italian TV station Rai 3 earlier on 9 October 2014. Rai, or Radiotelevisione Italiana, is Italy’s public broadcaster, owned by the Ministry of Economy and Finance. The piece was a short news item on Italians who live overseas. The interview asked Raffaello about living abroad, his career at Kent, and why he chose the University.

The footage can be viewed online. Raffaello appears approximately 50 seconds into the news item via an internet stream; where he explains that he is able to pursue research and that he finds Kent an engaging environment.
