SECL alumna Amy McManus will be running a networking coaching session on Wednesday 29 October from 2-3.30pm in Cornwallis Seminar Room 5, for SECL students. The event will be a great opportunity to improve your skills and to prepare for the Careers fair and the SECL Alumni Networking Event.
Amy graduated from the University of Kent in 2009 with a first-class honours degree in Philosophy and Sociology. She runs the Canterbury marketing company AM Marketing, which she set up in September 2013 and which was the runner-up Start-Up Business of the Year in the Kent Independent Trader Awards 2014.
The networking coaching session will introduce students to networking techniques, including presenting yourself, body language, handshakes, etc. with the chance to get to know a bit more about what networking is like and inspire confidence when meeting employers and peers.
