The UK Government website gov.uk has published a news story about a Kent in Athens event and our MA in Heritage Management programme, offered by the Department of Classical & Archaeological Studies and the Athens University of Economics and Business.

The event was held at the British Embassy Athens last week, on 9 May, with guests including teaching staff, alumni, and both current and prospective students.

At the event, the British Ambassador to Greece, John Kittmer, praised the MA programme, saying: ‘The University of Kent’s MA in Heritage Management is a great programme; its availability here in Greece reflects a great collaboration with the Athens University of Economics and Business’, he said.

David Nightingale, Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor, who teaches within the Department of Classical & Archaeological Studies, spoke of Kent’s relationship with Greece. ‘The University has over 2000 Greek alumni and is very proud of its longstanding relationship with Greece.’
