The Southern Normativity Group (SoNG) will hold its Inaugural Normativity Conference at Kent 22 March 2014. The keynote will be given by Sharon Street (New York University).
SoNG is composed of philosophers in southern UK working on questions about normativity, including Dr Kristoffer Ahlstrom-Vij, Dr Simon Kirchin and Dr Lubomira Radoilska from the Department of Philosophy, alongside staff from the universities of Sussex, Southampton, Reading and Cardiff.
They invite submissions of papers on any aspect of normativity (e.g., in ethics, epistemology or aesthetics) to be presented at the conference. Please send an abstract of no more than 300 words to southnormgroup@gmail.com by 15 January 2014.
