The Italian novelist Gianluigi Ricuperati will be visiting the University next week to give a reading from his forthcoming novel, and to discuss his work and how English literary scene is influencing Italian authors.
Ricuperati is the author of five critically acclaimed books. His most recent novel, La produzione di meraviglia [The Production of Wonder] (2013) is currently being translated by the publishing house Gallimard. He is also a cultural columnist for La Repubblica, Il Sole 24 Ore, and La Stampa, and an art curator (‘FestArch’, International Architecture Festival, with Stefano Boeri, ‘Artissima’ Castello di Rivoli, Contemporary Art Museum, amongst others).
All are welcome to attend this event. As Ricuperati is the Dean of the Domus Academy in Milan and has intensively worked on the connection between literature and art, we particularly wish to encourage scholars of Architecture and Performing Arts to come along.
