Comparative Literature success in the National Student Survey

The results of the 2013 National Student Survey (NSS) have now been released, revealing good news for Kent and the department of Comparative Literature in particular.

The NSS is a UK-wide survey of all 154 higher education institutions, providing an opportunity for final-year students to independently rate their experience at university.

Kent has been confirmed as being amongst the top 10 multi-faculty universities for overall satisfaction, positioning it within a select band of institutions that have achieved an overall satisfaction rate of 90%, above the national average, with individual departments scoring higher.

Twelve of the University’s departments have scored within the UK’s top 10 for student satisfaction, and Comparative Literature was one of four within the School of European Culture and Languages (SECL) to achieve this, with Comparative Literature ranked 2nd in its subject area.

Congratulations to our academic and support staff for providing excellent teaching and support to achieve this result, and we would like to thank all of our students who participated in the survey.
