The forthcoming academic years sees the Department of Italian pilot a new project, ‘progetto e-tandem Italia-UK’ for students from Kent corresponding directly with students from our universities of Parma, Bologna and Salerno.
Both languages, Italian and English, will be used for the correspondence, depending on students’ levels of experience, with the opportunity to debate about lifestyles and cultural issues.
The project will start in October and is aimed at preparing the students for their year abroad, giving them an invaluable chance to further practise the language and to be introduced to the new culture.
Tutors will inform students about the new project in the new academic year.
