Kent archaeology dig makes the BBC and ITV news

The archaeology dig on the site of Turing College

An archaeological excavation in progress at the University’s new Turing College site was featured on ITV Meridian and BBC South East yesterday evening, 25 July 2013.

The site, which hosted a dedicated public open day yesterday, enabled visitors to view and examine some of the artefacts from the Iron Age which have been found during the excavation.

The excavation has been conducted by Canterbury Archaeological Trust.
