Italian alumnus interviews filmmaker Annalisa Piras

Chris Paul, an alumnus of both the Department of Italian and the Department of Hispanic Studies has just published an interview with Annalisa Piras on Café Babel, the pan-European news and discussion website.

Annalisa Piras is an Italian journalist, filmmaker and communications advisor. She has been the London correspondent for L’Espresso newspaper since 1997 and for La7 TV for six years.

In 2012, Piras made the film Girlfriend in a Coma, discussing the political and social situations in contemporary Italy, and  lack of progression.
