Study in Rome on our new MA programmes

An ancient building in contemporary Rome

We are delighted to announce the launch of two new MA programmes for the 2013/2014 academic year, featuring a unique opportunity to spend a term studying in Rome.

The two programmes are an MA in Ancient History with a Term in Rome and an MA in Roman History and Archaeology with a Term in Rome.

A key focus of both programmes, is on the cities of the Roman Empire, especially the capital, Rome.

Students will experience the monuments and artefacts of this ancient city at first hand, with options to study its history and archaeology as well as site conservation and museum presentation.

University of Kent staff are present for part of the spring term in Rome to ensure continuity of academic guidance and pastoral support.

There is an Faculty of Humanities scholarship available to fund these programmes. For more details, please see:
