Science-fiction journal lands in SECL

Foundation: The International Journal of Science Fiction

Our congratulations to Dr Paul March-Russell, Honorary Lecturer in Comparative Literature, who has been appointed editor of Foundation: The International Review of Science Fiction, the second oldest academic journal devoted to science fiction. Launched in the UK in 1972, it remains the leading UK title dedicated to the genre.

‘I am honoured and privileged to become the new editor of Foundation,’ said Dr March-Russell. ‘It is a journal with a rich tradition not only of representing British science fiction but also from around the world. This is no more true than now when, in 2014, London will be playing host to the World SF Convention. My aim is for Foundation to be at the forefront of the celebrations.’
