Congratulations to our Summer School Scholarships winners

As part of the University of Kent’s 50th anniversary celebrations we are delighted to announce the winners of Summer School Scholarships in Brussels and Paris.

The scholarships were open to second- and final-year undergraduate students across all subject areas to to spend the first two weeks of June in Summer Schools at the University of Kent’s premises in either Brussels or Paris. They include tuition, excursions, accommodation and travel expenses from Canterbury, and run from the Monday 3 June to Friday 14 June 2013.

The successful students from within SECL to win scholarships for Paris were Mark Harrission (Drama and French), Omega House (Philosophy), and Jenny Shank (Comparative Literature and English and American Literature).

The successful SECL students winning scholarships for the Brussels Summer School were: Teresa Chao-Pei (Classical and Archaeological Studies), Benjamin Parker (Classical and Archaeological Studies), Kate Penny (French and Hispanic Studies), Hanisha Seithi (English Language and Linguistics) and Marcus Dean (Classical and Archaeological Studies).

Congratulations to all our students who are going out to either Belgium and France, and we hope you have an exciting and enlightening time.
