Call for Papers – British Conference of Undergraduate Research 2013

The British Conference of Undergraduate Research promotes undergraduate research in all disciplines. The Conference meets annually every spring in a different British university to give students the chance of presenting a piece of academic work.

Undergraduates of all levels are invited to submit papers, posters, workshops and performances to the Conference. Abstracts are peer-reviewed and those accepted will be invited to attend the conference.  Abstracts should be 150-200 words long and should summarise your research project in a way that will be accessible to a broad audience. You should also include a list of 5-10 references to recent research in your field relevant to your project.

The next British Conference of Undergraduate Research will be held at Plymouth University on the 15th and 16th of April 2013, and the School of European Culture and Languages is happy to award 10 students up to £100 each towards the cost of the trip, should their papers be accepted.

The call for papers is now open, and will close on the 3rd December.

If you are interested in applying for the Conference, please contact Jeremy Scott (J.D.Scott@kent.ac.uk).
