School staff win University Teaching Prize

The School of European Culture and Languages is pleased to announce that two teaching staff from within the school were recipients of one of this years’ University teaching prizes. John Partridge and Susanne Krauss have made an enormous contribution to teaching German here at Kent over the last few years.

They won the prize for a project called “Shortcuts in German Grammar: a Percentage Approach”, which looks at norms and variations in German grammar and seeks to establish simple and predictable procedures for producing correct German Grammar with a minimum of effort through online explanations, examples, self-marking diagnostic and corrective exercises, a terminological glossary and progress assessment.

Congratulations to John and Susanne for their well-deserved prize.
