European Jointly Supervised PhD Scholarship awarded to Italian student

Congratulations to Marco Piasentier, a University of Kent Italian PhD student, for winning this year’s prestigious award. Jointly supervised PhDs (widely known as cotutelles) offer PhD students the chance to be jointly supervised by the University of Kent and a university in another country, resulting in a dual award: a PhD from Kent and a doctorate from the partner university.

Marco will be supervised by Dr Lorenzo Chiesa (University of Kent) and Prof Roberto Esposito (Istituto Italiano di Scienze Umane, Naples).

We wish Marco every success with his project.
