Arthur Keaveney nominated President of the Classical Association of Ireland for 2013

Dr Arthur Keaveney, Reader in Ancient History at the University of Kent, has been nominated as President of the Classical Association of Ireland for 2013. The Association, which was founded in 1908, brings lovers of the Classics together and provides teachers support in retaining and expanding the place of Classics in the curriculum. The annual appointment will begin in a few months’ time with an Inaugural Lecture and close with a Presidential address at the annual conference this summer.
