Come and join a power pow-wow to get involved with this unique working group, with a big mission.

The SAC Sustainability Working Group is keen on recruiting further student involvement; the more the merrier and more ideas can flourish together and the more impact you can make!

‘Let me remind you that SAC is the only school in the university to have declared a Climate Change and Environmental emergency,’ Head of School Tanya Humle said ‘and we are extremely proud of the leadership that many of our students have demonstrated on steering not only good practise within our school but across the wider university as whole and as Head of School I am really keen that this momentum and energy gains in strength moving forward.’

In light of the fact that the first SAC SWG meeting earlier this term could not be advertised as widely as we would have liked, the SAC SWG will be hosting another event on:

WEDNESDAY 8TH OF DECEMBER

GRIMOND LECTURE THEATER 2

FROM 14-16H

We really want to encourage you all to come along, to hear about what the SAC SWG does, what it is planning to do, and the opportunities that it offers and most importantly how you can get involved!

You may also follow the groups announcements and activities via a platform which you can download onto your phone called Basecamp.

This platform allows members to share announcements (message board) or stimulate discussion using the Campfire chat function – a good way to stay in touch with what is going on, share ideas, events etc.

‘I look forward to seeing you all at the next SAC SWG gathering!!’ Tanya is encouraging as many staff and students to be there as possible ‘and if you cannot make it, please join basecamp!’
