Applications open for three new PhD Scholarships at DICE in 2020

Three PhD scholarships commencing in 2020 at the Durrell Institute of Conservation and Ecology (DICE) have been shortlisted for funding by the ARIES/NERC Doctoral Training Partnership. The projects are as follows:

The successful students will receive a comprehensive training experience, covering a broad range of analytical skills including Bayesian statistical techniques for spatio-temporal modelling using citizen science data, as well as transferable skills including stakeholder engagement and knowledge exchange.

There will be a two-stage interview process.  The first round of interviews will take place on the 31st January 2020 at the University of Kent.  Successful nominees will then participate in the second round of interviews, with the Aries panel, on 18th/19th February 2020 (venue TBC).

The deadline for all applications is the 7th January 2020.

Please note: for all projects. students will need to apply for the PhD in Biodiversity Management at the University of Kent.
