DICE Talk: ‘Tigers, babirusas, mantas: conserving Indonesia’s rich wildlife’

The School of Anthropology and Conservation has created a new series named DICE Talks that will take place every month and will consist of a public lecture by DICE staff, students and alumni.

This month’s DICE Talk will occur on Thursday, April 4th, and be given by Dr Matt Linkie of the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS).

Dr Linkie did his PhD with DICE and is a renowned tiger expert. He now heads up WCS’ science programmes in Indonesia, contributes to Indonesia’s national tiger strategy, and advises conservation programmes in the wider Southeast Asia Region.

Matt will talk about WCS’ conservation work on tigers, babirusas, and mantas, and promises some fascinating insights into conservation in Indonesia.

This event will be held in Grimond Lecture Theatre 2 from 18:00 to 19:00. See the Facebook page for more details..
