DICE talk: ‘The Triple Challenge: Food, Climate and Forests’

The School of Anthropology and Conservation has created a new series named DICE Talks that will take place every month and will consist of a public lecture by DICE staff, students and alumni.

This month’s DICE Talk will occur on Thursday, November 22nd and be given by Dr Will Baldwin-Cantello, Chief Adviser on Forests for WWF-UK and DICE Advisory Board Member. It’s entitled ‘The Triple Challenge: Food, Climate and Forests.’

Dr Baldwin-Cantello will be talking about his work on how we can restore nature, feed the world and avoid dangerous climate change.

The talk will take place in Keynes Lecture Theatre 6 starting at 18:00 and will last for one hour.

The event is free and open to all.

For anyone who missed the inaugural DICE talk, ‘How can we save ugly species?’ by Dr Bob Smith, it is now available to watch on YouTube.
