Conservation-themed film festival comes to Gulbenkian

Albatross consumed by plastic

This Autumn, in collaboration with the School of Anthropology and Conservation, the Gulbenkian cinema is hosting a series of environmental documentary films to help raise awareness of some of the threats facing the world today.

The series presents three thought-provoking, award-winning films that cover issues from plastic pollution to political corruption, from the glaciers of Greenland to a remote island in the Pacific Ocean.

All films will be shown at the Gulbenkian Cinema, University of Kent, at 18:30, beginning with Albatross as a free screening (26th September), Chasing Ice (October 1st) and An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power (October 3rd). Tickets cost between £5 and £8.70, and be purchased online or in person.
