Kent moves up to tenth place in Guardian League Table for Anthropology

This week saw Kent rise from eleventh to tenth place in the Guardian University league table for 2018 in the subject area of Anthropology. Receiving a satisfaction rate of over 95% for both course and teaching reflects the school’s commitment to innovation and scholarship, placing itself at the forefront of a range of specialisms to help us understand a changing world.

Particularly impressive is the school’s comparative success in employability, with 77% of its alumni embarking upon a career within six months of completion of their degree, a statistic that was only narrowly exceeded by one other institution in the top ten. With the school one of only six from Kent that feature in the Guardian League’s top bracket, it is heartening that the quality and breadth of teaching and research that is housed within the School of Anthropology and Conservation is being so valued by its students and alumni to make us one of the best institutions in the UK to come to for academic study.
