Dr Alanna Cant joins the school as a Research Fellow

Dr Alanna Cant has recently joined the school having been awarded a prestigious Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellowship. Alanna’s research project will investigate religious heritage conservation in Oaxaca, a part of Mexico with peripheralised indigenous communities. It is an interdisciplinary project that encourages synergies between art, architecture, conservation science, and anthropology of religion.

Her Marie-Curie grant is entitled: Restoration and Faith: practising religion and conservation in Mexico’s historic churches. We are delighted to have a scholar of Alanna’s calibre with us. Her expertise will add to the interdisciplinarity and uniqueness of the School.
