Dr Daniela Peluso and Dr Andrew Sanchez will be hosting a workshop entitled: Rethinking Skill: New Ethnographic Perspectives on Expertise
The event will take place in the Swingland Room on Friday May 6th and Saturday May 7th.
The workshop does not feature public keynote sessions. However, participants include some of the world’s leading experts in the anthropology of expertise. Papers address topics as varied as finance, artisanship, technology, art and industry. All papers will be summarised by authors with a 20 minute presentation.
The event promises to contribute to a stimulating and open discussion of skill and expertise in diverse ethnographic contexts.
